Jesse Eisenberg as the voice of Blu stars in this upcoming 3D computer-animated film Rio (2011) under the direction of Carlos Saldanha who also directed “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs″ in 2009, “Ice Age: The Meltdown” in 2006, “Robots” in 2005, “Ice Age” in 2002, and “Ice Age: Continental Drift”. This film focuses on Blu, a rare species of a blue Spix’s Macaw resident at a bookstore in Moose Lake, Minnesota, who is the last of his kind. However, when scientists find out that there is another macaw spotted in South America and that macaw is a female named Jewel, they take Blu out of Minnesota and sent him in Rio de Janeiro to meet her. Jewel and Blu met and Blu tries to win her heart by learning to confront his fear of flying. Along the way, they get kidnapped and sold to get a fortune.
